Boosting Singapore’s edge as a global startup hub

Singapore will enhance the competitiveness and attractiveness of the startup ecosystem and grow the Singapore Corps for entrepreneurship. These efforts are in place to ensure Singapore remains a leading startup hub and to nurture a new generation of Singapore-based entrepreneurs.

Minister of State of Trade & Industry and National Development, Alvin Tan was speaking at a SERT press conference on 4 August 2025. He will co-chair the SERT “Entrepreneurship” committee with Minister of State for Culture, Community & Youth, and Manpower, Dinesh Vasu Dash.
