Hungry Carnivorous Plant Devours Unsuspecting Mouse

***Warning - Pretty Gross***
It turns out that carnivorous plants aren't very picky when it comes to their meals. In addition to their normal prey of bugs and slugs, some of our bigger specimens will occasionally go after more substantial victims. This Nepenthes x trusmadiensis trapped and killed an unfortunate mouse in our greenhouse, and Josh braved the smell to show you the results. This is a reminder that nature (including plants) can be brutal.
