TRICOUNI PEAK.....ALMOST

we attempted to hike to the summit of tricouni peak on june 27th. We left the city at around midnight and were at the trail head by 2am. we decided for an alpine start so that the snow would't be too soft, but ignorantly we only brought snow shoes and not crampons. needless to say we still had lots of fun and this a hike I look forward to doing again. I will also note that this trail is incredibly muddy
