Laura & Larry - Anniversary - 12/8

Laura and Larry met in a bar in Manhattan on St. Patrick's day, they married a few weeks before Christmas later that same year. Laura's public image created by her record company was a fresh new artist onto the music scene, younger than her actual age, and unmarried.

"I Wish We Could Be Alone" is Laura's way of expressing her feelings of hiding her marriage from the public eye, or shifting the details to fit with the image she was being portrayed as.
