Balfour Beatty Tamper passes through Redhill working 6Q68 22/05/2026 (Bike chase!)

As I have mentioned before, the staff at Redhill station have a habit of hanging out at the platform 3 gate these days, which puts me off a bit. But no matter, I was on my bike and decided to take the risk of cycling to some bridges. Can I get between them in time? Barely! Would I do it again? If it's that tight, probably not!

Anyway, the train was a Balfour Beatty Tamper working 6Q68 Woking Up Yard Sidings to Ashford Crane Depot, spotted at Linkfield Street and Hartspiece Road on Friday 22nd May 2026.
