Dialing-in is all about monitoring and adjusting the variables, such as the grind size, to achieve the perfect extraction. Follow Leo Schmidt, a barista from Mecca Coffee, as she explains how to get a more even extraction so that you can enjoy perfectly balanced coffee with an irresistible body.

Once you have your specialty coffee beans, it’s time to brew. Adjust the ‘Grind dial’ to get the right size and depending on whether your espresso is dispensing too fast or too slow will determine whether you need to make your grind size finer (decrease) or coarser (increase).
