My River Cruise On American Serenade - Part 3 - American Cruise Lines Review

This is part 3 of my series of videos about my recent cruise on the American Serenade cruise ship on the rivers of Tennessee, Kentucky, and Alabama.

In this episode, we visit Savannah, Tennessee and Florence, Alabama. In Savannah, I explore the downtown area including a museum, listen to a rock band performing in the park, and follow boaters on the Tennessee River with my drone.

In Florence, I go on an excursion offered by American Cruise Lines to visit three recording studios associated with the Muscle Shoals sound made famous in many hit records of the 1960s, 70s and 80s. This includes the FAME studios where "When A Man Loves A Woman" was recorded, as well as the competing Muscle Shoals studio on Jackson Highway, created by the Swampers, the rhythm section that was the key ingredient to the Muscle Shoals sound.
