Release Neck Tension With Up And Down Breathing
Up and Down Breathing is a breathing exercise combined with neck exercise to unblock stuck energy and release muscle tension. It’s one of the exercises in part 1 of the flow60 daily practice.
Warning: please use a chair or breath softly for those of you who are not use to doing breathing exercises. Safety first.
How to do this exercise:
🪑(Sit in a chair if your not use to doing breathing exercises to prevent dizziness or fainting)
1. Look up and breath in thru nostril. Look down and breath out thru mouth making the sound Shhhh… RELAX YOUR NECK. Repeat 5-20 times based on how you feel.
2. On the last rep, breath out all your air and hold your breath. (Sit in a chair if your not use to doing breathing exercises)
3. With your breath fully exhaled, rotate your neck around in a circle, one direction for 3-5 times. Repeat the other direction. Then turn to the left and right 3-5 times or until you have to breath in air.
4. Face forward and breath in thru nose and stay relaxed. Breath out thru mouth. Breath in again thru nose and this time try breathing into your stomach. Breath out thru mouth.
