Don't Buy a Roller Stand Until You Watch This

Tired of struggling with awkward roller stands won’t adjust under load? In this video, I’ll show you how to build your own heavy-duty adjustable roller stand using scrap metal, a scissor jack, and a conveyor roller — no precision machining required.

This simple DIY roller stand is perfect for supporting long stock at the bandsaw, belt grinder, drill press, or table saw. The fine height adjustment makes it way easier to dial in, even with heavy material on top.

I’ll also show you two different versions I built — one using a quality jack, and one using the cheapest jack Amazon could cough up — and how they compare.

If you're into metal fabrication, DIY shop tools, or just hate tipping your material off a janky store-bought roller stand, this project is for you.
