Jakobus 3: 3 - 6
Ons moet so versigtig wees met wat ons sê, veral vir kinders. “Julle klein duiweltjies!” Jy sê dit sonder om te besef dat jy dood oor daardie kinders spreek. En hulle sal jou woorde onthou. “Jy gaan nooit iets bereik nie want jy luister nooit na my nie!” Jy spreek dood oor hul gees. Bemoedig mekaar en spreek lewe, nie veroordeling nie. Praat oor God se krag, woorde en werke. Bid vir siekes, betoon liefde aan verstote mense, praat opbouend met gebrokenes en jy sal sien hoe dit jou eie lewe verander... totaal verander.

James 3: 3 - 6
We need to be careful what we say, especially to children. “You little devils!” You say it without realising that you are speaking death over those children. And they will remember your words. “You will never amount to anything because you never listen to me!”
You are speaking death into their inner-man. Encourage one another, speak life and not death, speak the oracles of God, pray for the sick, love the un-loved, speak life into those who have been broken down and you will see, it will change your own life dramatically.
