CHFA Income Limits - FirstStep, SmartStep & Preferred

Colorado Housing & Finance Authority (CHFA) has income limits on their down payment assistance programs but each program is different. Not only in what the limit is but also in how your income is calculated and, ultimately, determined to be under or over the limits.

We're simplifying the chart by breaking it down and explaining how it works and when to use which program based on how the income limits work and your particular situation.
