'Meet The Artist' (No: 22) | Catriona Charlton | Costume Embroiderer for Theatre, Film & TV

Catriona explains how she designs & creates her detailed costumes for film and shares the process she utilised to develop the costume for ‘Brimstone’ - a character from ‘Daughter of Smoke and Bone’ by Laini Taylor - she shares her samples which include a variety of needlework techniques such as digital embroidery, hand and free-machine embroidery, crochet, smocking, goldwork & beading. Catriona received an Embroiderers’ Guild Graduate 2019 Award. Filmed at The Knitting & Stitching Show 2019, Alexandra Palace.
Catriona is a graduate from Huddersfield University.
