HOW to restore car radio in "ErrE" mode (2001 Honda Accord EX)

The radio in my 2001 Honda Accord EX went dead while my car was parked at the airport for 7 days. I tried several times to get the restore code to go in and the radio went into "ErrE" mode. That froze it up. This is how you restore "code" so that you can type in the restore code. I called my Honda Dealership who services my car, they pulled it up, i confirmed the VIN, they gave me the restore code for my car.
