ARMENIAN LIFE: Refugees in Jermuk (Part 2)

We distribute children's clothing to the Artsakhi refugee families in Jermuk.

Firstly, Mrs Mitch and I went to the Ararat Sanatorium where about 60 Arstakhi families have been temporarily accommodated. After listening to their horrific experiences and of being forced to leave their ancient homeland, Mrs Mitch gave warm clothing to families with young children.

Afterwards we visited another refugee family (grandma, her son, his wife and their 3 children) living in an apartment in Jermuk. Similarly, they gave accounts of horrific and terrifying events leading up to the exodus of the Artsakhi people into Armenia.

We are still taking donations from people who wish to help the Artsakhi refugees. Mostly, we're buying new clothes for children, but if we can get enough money, we would like to purchase other essential items.
