Cost of Living in Dubai | Business | Sarthak Ahuja

This is the amount of money you need to make if you’re thinking of moving to Dubai as a nuclear family...

Rent & Utilities = AED 7000 = INR 1.5L
Groceries = AED 2000 = INR 50k
Car Rental, Taxis, Metro, Fuel = AED 2000 = INR 50k
Nanny & House Help = AED 3000 = INR 75k
Eating out, Entertainment = AED 3000 = INR 75k

And I haven’t even added miscellaneous expenses, which would include medical bills, children’s education, etc.

Now, to be among the top 1% Indians, it would take you to have a net worth of Rs 1.4 Crores...

However, in the UAE, the top 1% have a net worth of over Rs 13 crores...

So, the lifestyle expenses really catch up, and even if people tell you that you can survive in less than Rs 3 lakhs of monthly income or say AED 15000...

You don’t want to be living below your means because you essentially move for a better life abroad.

So, if you can collectively earn about Rs 5 Lakhs a month or about AED 22000... moving to Dubai will make sense with all the tax savings and lifestyle you aim for.
