MagClip Go for the Rode Wireless Go Mic & actually........ Lavaliers!!
The MagClip Go is designed specifically for the Rode Wireless Go Microphone. It's a clever design. However, it is actually a strong magnet so I found that if you use lavaliers, the clip that you use to clip it to yourself will stick to the magnet, so your microphone can basically be stuck to anything metal or even better, attached to things by putting the back of the MagClip behind whatever you want the mic to stick to and using the front magnet to hold it there!!
That means you can attach a lav to curtains, backs of chairs, inside a book or clipboard, tablecloths, and even (in this video) leaves in a tree!!
So the Rode MagClip Go is a handy thing to have for those times when you might like to place the lavalier close to you, but not have it showing in the video.
It's a strong magnet and actually, in the shot where I stuck the MagClip to a metal fence, I found it quite hard to get it off!!
