During the dark and suffocating days of our black summer, fires tore through vast parts of Australia.

Six months on, despite the promise of government assistance and the millions raised and in donations, some are still living without power or water.

In the southeast of NSW, communities like Cobargo saw their houses, farms and even the main street go up in flames.
