An in-depth demo showing the functionality of the Honeywell Lyric T5 RCHT8610WF smart thermostat. I believe the Lyric T6 is similar but with additional capabilities for different heat sources (i.e. heat pumps)

At time time of filming, I'd been using the thermostat for just over 3 months with my 1980s natural gas furnace and A/C unit.

I bought the thermostat for around $100 Canadian including taxes. Considering the cost, I'm very happy, though more expensive Nest and ecoBee3/4 thermostats offer additional features.
