Ham Radio Tape Measure Yagi Beam Antenna build for 2 Meters - 3 Old Tech Dudes
3OTD brings you a great antenna build this week in our maker's corner segment: a WB2HOL tape measure beam antenna! This antenna, centered on 146.565, is great for general 2 meter use, but is especially excellent for amateur radio direction finding (ARDF) or fox hunting! Timmy takes you all the way through the build from start to finish!

We talk CB Handles and scanners in Echoes From The Asylum, and we welcome KC1PUX to the waves!
Materials needed for the antenna build:
- At least 3 feet of ½ inch PVC pipe
- Two ½ inch PVC crosses and a ½ inch PVC tee
- A 1 inch width tape measure you’re willing to sacrifice
- zip ties
- at least two hose clamps
- 50 ohm coax, such as RG-58 or RG-8X, one end with no connector, the other end with a connector of your choice. In our case, the connector is a standard PL-259.
