When you're at a beach resort, you're probably going to be spending every waking hour near the water. For a lot of resorts, you get some sand and water, but the Barcelo Maya Grand had some absolutely incredible things to see and do at the beach that I wasn't expecting. It was such a bonus to get them and really made me happy I stayed here. Also, the resort has some adventure activities and other extra-cost things in case you are looking to change things up a bit without having to leave the resort.
