TB425CS string trimmer running problem found

My Troy-Bilt weed wacker was running poorly, then die. I saw air in the return line to the tank when primimg. Thought a gasket was letting air in some how. I would try something, then start it to see if that fixed the problem, then try something else. What I found was a piece of plastic (or filter) was lodged against the screen going into the carb, blocking most of the flow, but letting the primer pump work. The air, that I thought I was seeing, was the petrol off gassing when the cylinder pulled hard, like a vapor lock, but not heat related. Break is over, back to work. There should be a cold beer in there later. lol...
