Leonardo DiCaprio reacted to his ‘One Battle After Another’ co-star Chase Infiniti being shut out of the Oscars 2026 Best Lead Actress category. In a Jan. 22 interview with the Associated Press, Leo detailed how essential Chase was for the film, explaining, “She was the fabric of this movie. She was the heart and soul. There would be no ‘One Battle After Another’ without the performance that she gave.” Leo earned a Best Lead Actor nomination for his role in the Paul Thomas Anderson film. Overall, ‘One Battle After Another’ landed 13 Oscar nominations, including Best Picture and a Best Supporting Actress nomination for Teyana Taylor, who also won a Golden Globe earlier this month. The film is the second most nominated picture at this year’s Academy Awards, trailing behind Ryan Coogler’s ‘Sinners,’ which leads with 16 nominations, including a Best Lead Actor nomination for Michael B.
