The Original 1971 newscast Broadcasting the hijacking of Northwest Airlines flight 305 by a man calling himself Dan Cooper.

My personal theory is he was the uncle from Sisters, Oregon. He derived his name from the Dan Cooper Comics, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Cooper_(comics) , and made it away with $200K and Died in the 90's.
