My First Deer

My first deer was a small one; maybe my small game license would have been enough to tag it! I shot it on the last day of the season, January 1st, 2015. I borrowed a crossbow. While the shot looked good in the scope I hadn't learned yet that you have to look at the trajectory of the bolt, too. As it were I shot right through the blind fabric but killed the deer none-the-less. I was fortunate to have the whole thing filmed by the TV show "EP Adventures" (Elite Pursuit). There have been a lot of deer since but this one was special due to the comradery of the guys helping me out.
