Concierto de Bayoán guitar and Orchestra by Ernesto Cordero/Guitarist Iván Rijos

Concierto de Bayoán was commissioned by the Sixth International Congress of Guitar in Mettman,Germany and composed between 1989 and 1990.The Concerto is dedicated to the Greek guitarist Costas Cotsiolis,who performed the world premiere,in Mettman,Germany on October 3, 1991. Two years later the Polish composer Krystof Penderesky chose the work and presented it in the Casals Festival 1993, having the guitarist Ivan Rijos to perform it. The Concerto is published by Doberman-YPPAN DO 795. The present recording is with Orquesta San Juan Pops, Mo Roselín Pabón Conductor.
