Hogwarts Christmas Cake Recipe | Christmas at Hogwarts | My Harry Potter Kitchen (Ep. 60)

It's our final Christmas at Hogwarts recipe and this week we're taking the traditional Christmas Cake to another level by transforming the top into a Hogwarts castle silhouette!
This super easy Caribbean cake recipe will be unlike any Christmas cake you've tried before, rich in flavour and super light but still packed full of fruity goodness! It's topped off with both marzipan and fondant icing so make sure you watch to the end to find out how to a little decorating trick can make a big difference!

Hogwarts Christmas Cake Ingredients:
- 200g dried mixed fruits
- 100g glace cherries
- spiced rum
- sherry
- 220g butter
- 220g muscovado sugar
- 3 eggs
- 220g plain flour
- 110g self-raising flour
- ½ tbsp mixed spice
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1 tbsp treacle
- 1 tbsp gravy browning
- 4/5 dashes of angostura bitters
- sherry or rum
- golden syrup or apricot jam
- marzipan
- icing
