Today we have been reached by the horrible news that a Boeing 737-500 from Sriwijaya Airlines, flight SJY182 have crashed a few miles NNE of Jakarta after only four minutes of flight.
The government of Indonesia have confirmed that the aircraft has been lost and have directed resources to try and find the aircraft as soon as possible. (Note from the video; Basarnas is the National Search and Rescue gency of Indonesia.)
Please try and refrain from speculating on the cause of this incident until some proper information is available from trusted sources.
