Mackerel Fishing UK Bridlington

We went for Mackerel fishing in Bridlington. Our original plan was to do fishing from pier but when we arrived, we met one guy who did Mackerel fishing from boat week ago and he had a big luck by catching over 100 Mackerels. Straight away we went to talk with skipper to check availability on his boat. We were very lucky that he had exactly 2 places. So we decided to go for it.

Beginning of the fishing wasn't great. We caught only few fish over all boat. After few not very successful hours skipper changed location and after maybe 20 minutes action got crazy. Everyone on a boat start catching mackerel after mackerel.

First I used tackle provided by skipper but it was very sturdy rod so I decided to change to my pike rod which is much more sensitive. After i took my rod, I had way much more pleasure. Heinis did same.
Just shame that the main action started about 2 hours into end of the fishing.

Day was awesome, lots of mackerels, enjoyed every bit of this adventure.
