Cardboard Canoe Race 2021

This spring, students molded cardboard into canoes and braved the muddy waters of the "Sem Pond" on campus. This annual tradition tests the engineering skills of our talented students. Congrats to Samantha and Carissa for the winning canoe!

The Society for Civil Engineers at Calvin hosted the annual cardboard canoe race. Students used cardboard, plastic bags and copious amounts of duct tape to create vessels meant to win prizes.
