How to make hand sanitizer - WHO recipe

WARNINGS:
- Alcohol is extremely flammable do not mix around any open flames
- Use googles to avoid getting in your eyes while mixing

The Coronavirus (COVID-19) has caused a shortage of hand sanitizers.
Since this is a easy, on-the-go way to eliminate germs I am loading a recipe for making homemade hand sanitizer
This recipe is in compliance with the WHO (world health organization).
Commercially produced hand sanitizer is still preferred, but this recipe will produce a hand sanitizer that is approximately 75% alcohol content.

IT IS RECOMMENDED TO USE HAND SANITIZER ONLY WHEN SOAP AND WATER ARE NOT AVAILABLE

Using 99% isopropyl alcohol:

- 240 ml isopropyl alcohol 99%
- 15 ml hydrogen peroxide 3%
- 5 ml glycerin
- water to make a total of 320 ml

Using 91% alcohol start with 265 ml or 1 cup plus 4 teaspoons

With 70% alcohol start with 300 ml or 1 and 1/4 cups
* when using 70% alcohol no additional water needs to be added.
