Anyone that has investigated putting LED headlights in one of these cars knows 2 things... 1 - there isn't a lot of room for a bulb with a large back on it, like those LED bulbs with fans and large cooling fins. 2 - Volvo's have a REALLY picky CANBUS system to help locate bulbs when they go bad, and it really doesn't like LED headlights. LED bulbs draw far less current than a standard bulb, and the car interprets that to mean the bulb is bad. Will these lights work with a CANBUS system without getting something to help fool the system into thinking it still has the old bulbs? Let's find out.

Either way, you'll see that the light generated by the LED bulbs is far superior to the standard bulbs. Your ability to see detail, especially from reflective surfaces, is much, MUCH better than with a standard bulb.
