Games Development with Typescript and Canvas by James Wright | Armada JS 2019
TypeScript’s static analysis and type safety capabilities enable developers to build large-scale web apps with confidence, but also benefit non-traditional web experiences such as visualizations and games. In this talk, we’ll reimplement the arcade classic Pac-Man in the language, using the Canvas API for rendering and Web Audio for playing sound, ultimately witnessing first-hand how well TypeScript applies to this use case.
