ICA GEC's webinar | Cooperatives: Together to end violence against women and girls

The ICA’s Gender Equality Committee marked the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women on 25 November by hosting a webinar to show how cooperatives are tackling gender-based violence in their communities.
Titled "Cooperatives: Together to end violence against women and girls", the webinar aimed to support the UN’s campaign “UNITE! Activism to end violence against women and girls” and contribute to the global debate and raising awareness within cooperatives and beyond about gender-based violence (GBV) and what can be done. Furthermore, it aims to show the added value of cooperatives in this battle and intends to increase the recognition of cooperatives as valuable actors.
