27th November 1965: "Match of the Day" cameras visit White Hart Lane where Tottenham Hotspur welcome Stoke City. It had already been a bad week for Spurs' Divison One title aspirations with several key players missing. However situation became even worse for the club when Jimmy Greaves' was taken ill with hepatitis B and unavailable to play again until February 1966. Many observers believe Greaves illness lost him a yard of pace in attack on his return and ultimatly this was the key reason behind is omission from the World Cup Final line up.
