Camp Bestival 2020 Theme Unveiled!

Lights, camera, action! 🎬 Any ideas yet? That's right, 2020 is the year that 'Camp Bestival Goes To The Movies'.

Get ready to experience all the suspense and drama of the Silver Screen, as Camp Bestival goes Larger Than Life. From epic blockbusters and film noirs, to the kings and queens of Bollywood and swashbuckling adventures on the high seas, we’re going to travel through time covering everything from the Golden Age of Hollywood right through to the latest Marvel and Manga madness.

There will be drama, adventure, punk sci-fi, B-movies, westerns, thrillers, musicals, martial arts, swords and sorcery, fairy tales, biblical heroes, gangsters, fantasy and so much more.

Expect glittering and glamorous film stars, cowboys and cowgirls, spies, detectives, aliens, monsters, robots, and maybe a few zombies depending on how well the kids slept that night…

To help celebrate our theme, Camp Bestival will also be home to a brand new open-air cinema, AV shows featuring well-loved cult classics remixed by our favourite DJs, sing-a-long movie nights, acting workshops, meet the screenwriter sessions, some very special movie-related guests and so much more, all to be revealed early next year.
