Silent taxes in Canada 💸

In today's video, I discuss inflation and how it's destroying the economy behind the scenes and ruining the chances of the middle class and lower classes having a good standard of living. As inflation runs hotter and wages don't keep up then that means every day the dollar you earn is becoming more worthless. This negatively impacts the standard of living. The housing bubble has risen to new heights this year and is showing signs of easing. I also talk about the state of real estate in Nanaimo that is just a joke really. This really shows how far the bubble has gone. Going to Nanaimo opened my eyes to how artificial some of these price increases have been especially in smaller communities. There's no real wealth in Nanaimo it's just full of retirees. This issue of housing is becoming political. I believe this is the biggest threat to the housing market yet. Politics has the single biggest impact on any supply and demand market. Because of the artificial increases in places like Nanaimo, London, Osoyoos, Penticton, Kamloops, Hamilton, Windsor, this means that people have now seen the chance of their kids ever owning a home completely evaporate. This will not last. The sentiment is changing rapidly in the housing market. People want lower prices and less greed. The reason this will become such a large issue is that the problem has now migrated into nearly every town and city in Canada. Making it a national issue, not just one confined to some cities in Canada. I'm not against investing in real estate I just think from an investment standpoint you would be very delusional to invest in Canada's market now long term especially with so many other countries with much fewer taxes and better investment opportunities. Needless to say over the past 12 months many have done exactly that. Inflating the biggest housing bubble in the world to new heights. In my opinion, there's only one ending for such a bubble and it doesn't look good.
