Everybody knows the beginning of this story: Pocahontas - a girl from an Indian tribe fall in love with colonist - John Smith. But than, the King sent his faithful soldier - John Rolfe. When he met Pocahontas near the colonists's village he fell for her, and tried to show it to her. But chief's daughter always loved John Smith and king's soldier irritated her.
Once, Rolfe noticed them walking in the woods. Soldier attacked John Smith. Young captain tried to protect his lover and John Rolfe used this.
He killed Smith and took chief's daughter as his wife, telling her that if she'll not marry him, he'll order to destroy Powhatan village and kill her family. Pocahontas sacrificed her for her tribe and go to England.
Balls, dresses, king, gentry, meanness - young girl should live this life far away from her home. When once she remembered John Smith, girl understood that she can't live without him. Pocahontas commits suicide.
Her husband decided ti lay her rest in Gravesend. When he comes to her funeral, he sees her face in church's sculptures and icons. At his heart, Rolfe understands that he guilts in their deaths.
