This is a fun song, even more so with the music video (you should check it out). I got requested to play it over on Twitch, and so I did, but then I got a request for it on YouTube as well, so here it is! It was fun to sight-read it on twitch, and get exposed to new music at the same time, but I found out that it was a pretty bad transcription, so I started from scratch (as usual) and made my own. I chose to go for a clean tone since my bass is on top of his. You can add the effects to your own bass when you play it though. It sounds like a mix of flanger and chorus, but I'm not 100% on that though. I hope you all like the props that I use in some of my videos. It adds a lot of fun into the video making process and I hope you all appreciate it as well.
as far as tabbing goes:
He adds embellishments live (to make it more interesting for a live audience for sure) in the beginning before he sings, but he keeps the heart of the song there. Once he starts singing, he makes it a bit simpler so that he can sing and play at the same time, but it still has the same groove to it

Also, the song is mostly two loops that he made. The first one where at the end of the phrase, it has the 4-4 leading into the next one, and then the one without. You can hear that they alternate and that they are identical to their iterations beforehand. Occasionally he'll change it up slightly, like the slowdown, or the break, but those are the same loops as before surrounding that section.

In the loops he does a hammer-on as well. you can see him do that in the videos linked below. The loop with the rest at the end, it's a hard hammer-on, and the loop with the 4s it's much softer. also, one more difference between them is the bar with the 5-r-4-r-2, the rests are less pronounced in one of the loops, but still there (probably 16th rests instead of 8th rests like i've tabbed, but for readability, I've kept the 8th rests).
Both loops have the 0-0-2-0-2-3, but that 2nd 0 is softer and hard to hear in one of the loops so it sounds like a dotted quarter instead of a quarter and then and 8th note

You can see most of everything.
The big thing is that for the positioning, like the last 8th note of bar 2 and then the first two notes of bar 3 are by the 0 and 2, not 5 and 7
0:52 - the hammer-on

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=npX_CnZYFPM
His positioning is the same here
0:5 - the hammer on

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rem2qNjEXBU
On the main riff, end of bar 4, he goes 2-0 and then 5 on the down of the next bar.
On the trrack, he skips the 2 and just does open.
He then goes to 2
0:10 - he does 2-3-4
0:17 - the D right before the G that's 5 on the D string is also played as a 5 and not open.
Thanks for watching! Enjoy :)
