張振富（1940年8月9日－2000年），中國著名民族音樂歌唱家，北京軍區戰友歌舞團演員、中國國家一級演員。
張振富1940年出生在中國天津，1959年應徵參軍，成為北京軍區某砲兵團的偵察兵，後進入軍隊文工團成為歌唱演員。 20世紀70年代張振富與耿蓮鳳合作演唱了《祖國一片新面貌》、《毛主席派人來》、《敖包相會》等歌曲，在當時的中國產生了巨大的影響，二人被中國媒體評論為「國內最好的二重唱搭檔」、「中國的一對兒絕唱」。
1996年底，張振富被查出患有肺癌的早期症狀。但他為了能繼續演出，放棄手術，僅僅進行保守治療。隨後幾年間，張振富又在各地進行了數百場演出，包括在1998年中央電視台春節聯歡晚會上與耿蓮鳳演唱《祖國一片新面貌》、1998年抗洪巡迴演出、1999年10月7日在新中國50週年優秀歌曲音樂會上與耿蓮鳳演唱《毛主席派人來》等。 2000年，張振富因肺癌去世。

This is a rare and underrated folk pop song in praise of Chairman Mao. The provenance of the song is practically unknown, other than that it was sung by Zhang Zhenfu — you may recognise his voice from the modern rendition of “Sailing the Seas Depends on the Helmsman” ▶ https://youtu.be/SYnIBxLsPAQ
Zhang Zhenfu (1940—2000) was a famous Chinese folk music singer, actor of the Beijing Military Region Comrades’ Song and Dance Troupe, and a national first-class actor in China.
Zhang Zhenfu was born in Tianjin, China in 1940. He joined the army in 1959 and became a scout of an artillery regiment in the Beijing Military Region. Later he entered the military cultural troupe and became a singer. In the 1970s, Zhang Zhenfu and Geng Lianfeng (dubbed the “best duet in China”) co-sung such hits as “A New Look of the Motherland”, “Chairman Mao Sends People Hither”, “Ovoo Meeting”.
In late 1996, Zhang Zhenfu began to develop symptoms of lung cancer. However, in dedication to his craft, he gave up surgery and opted instead for passive treatment. In the following years, Zhang Zhenfu performed hundreds of times, including the notable 1998 CCTV Spring Festival Gala performance with Geng Lianfeng — “A New Look of the Motherland”. In 2000, Zhang Zhenfu succumbed at the age of 60 to complications arising from cancer.
