If you are looking for a challenging and beautifully animated Rogulike game with a high replayability factor then you should take a look at Curse of the Dead Gods! This video is part of a series of Curse of the Dead Gods gameplay videos where I try to beat the game and do multiple full playthroughs.

Curse of the Dead Gods is a fully-featured roguelite with a challenging curve, tight combat, and dozens of weapons, relics, curses, rooms, traps, and much more to discover. You take control over an adventurer diving deep into the heart of a forgotten temple. You start out with your trusty machete, a gun and a torch and try to get stronger over each run while you delve deeper into the depths of death and corruption. Curse of the Dead Gods features a unique mechanic: Every time you enter a new room your corruption meter rises. As soon as you meet a certain threshold you become cursed. BUT the first few curses are not only negative to you. Some of them also have a positive side effect. Only the fifth and final curse gives you a major drawback that makes it almost impossible to beat the game. That means that you need to manage your resources wisely. Do you offer blood (and gain additional corruption) to gain the very needed weapon upgrade that helps you clear the next room? Or do you pass and try go find more gold instead to please the gods with shiny metal?
