Bill & Bob Get the Last Drop from Billy's Stetson!

2019. I was so fortunate to be in the right place at the right time - but I almost completely screwed it up big time!!! My phone was set to video and I could see I was getting a magnificent shot - live action of Billy giving Bill and Bob a drink of water from his "Stetson." Here is the story: Annette took some friends for an impromptu after dinner ride in the wagon - it was about 6:30ish. I wasn't able to ride along but met up with them in my car to take some pics of them at Traylor Ranch where they would turn around and return the way they came, half way around the block. Annette was sitting in the wagon holding the lines and when she was going to ask Billy to give Bill and Bob water, she realized there was no bucket. So she suggested that Billy could use his hat, and we all had a good laugh! I said, pleeaassse, Billy; it would be the perfect photo op. But, finally, it was Billy's love and empathy for Bill and Bob that did it. He turned and walked to the water spigot and proceeded to fill his hat to the brim. I'm looking at my phone, getting the shot all in the frame and then after both horses had a huge draught of water, dribbling and slobbering all over the underside brim of Billy's hat, I looked in horror at the round red dot and realized- it would be square if the phone was recording. So, I pressed the button to record and luckily got the footage when Billy offered both horses another drink but only Bill put his nose into the hat, wiggled his lips, and lapped a little with his tongue. But it was enough to get several pics of this fun moment for posterity. At the end when he posed between the horses with his wet hat back on his head, you can hear Annette laugh and say "water is dribbling down his back." Since Billy is a real cowboy, the music for this had to be epic western, so the tune I chose is "The Call from the Far Away Hills" from Shane. Thanks, Billy, for a super duper fun photo op!!
