I hate giving good people bad news but it’s part of the job and over time you learn different ways to let people down easily or lessen the blow, I found the best way is by giving your customers options. Give them a good, better, best set of options and let them decide what they can afford or how they want to proceed. Some people just wanna do the bare minimum cause they’re about to sell their home , others want to do the maximum cause they plan on staying there forever. This is why I highly recommend presenting your customers with options, you’ll be amazed how much more money you make when you start giving them options, just be sure you honestly advise them! I’ve seen too many people get greedy.
