Released in January 2026 with a Mixed-but-passionate reception, it puts you behind the eyes of a nameless prisoner of the Lich, dropped into a procedurally generated citadel and given exactly one mandate: survive, escape, or fall and let the next prisoner pick up where you left off. The hook is the combat system, turn-based, dice-driven, shifting completely based on the class and gear you have chosen out of nine starting builds, blending strategy and risk in the way every fan of For the King and Slice & Dice already knows is dangerously moreish. Sixty-plus items, seventy-plus enemies, gothic NPCs willing to help you or stab you depending on how the conversation goes, and a fifty-achievement spine that will absolutely punish completionists in the right way. At seven bucks with a free demo and a Steam Deck-friendly footprint, this is the kind of unpretentious indie the dungeon-crawler shelf was built to keep finding.
