Redecorating my Hobby Room - A New Year...A New Beginning...

When I posted on my Community page recently, I had an overall majority expressing an interest in a short video showing how I redecorate my Hobby Room.....well, here it is.....paint drying and all, lol....and now you all know what I look like as well, after all these years of hiding behind my hands!!!.....but the hands will be back shortly 😉

The layout of my room hasn't changed a great deal I know, but I now have a larger set of shelves for paint storage etc....the worktops are deeper and are now all at one level and the wash down surfaces will make it a breeze to clean....The new lighting wall brackets are much better than the desk mounted boom arms I had previously and the fact that I can raise them out of the way or bring them closer to the desktop is going to make filming so much easier....My tools were spread around the room before, so the wheeled trolley means everything is in one place and has its place, so its easier to find something when I need it....the wall heater works and is programmable, which is a superb bonus.... its nice to have a clean room again without paint and muck on the walls which I have no idea how it got there!!!.....I wish I'd had the budget to re-do the flooring but I decided that its going to get grubby anyway so left the tatty carpet in place....And finally, after 18 months of waiting for an appointment I'm having the lump removed from my back in February, lol.....I'm pretty happy with the way the room has turned out and it already feels a much nicer space to be in, and I look forward to spending a few hours sat at my new desktops during 2024 👍

Whilst I'm typing, some of you may have noticed that the channel is Ad free at the moment but fear not, Ads will be back, so enjoy it while it lasts....I'll be making a some announcements in a few months time but need to set a some things in motion first, as I'm hoping to make changes to how the channel is run and potentially give those that wish it, more access to content..... Anyway, keep a look out for that....And lastly I wish you all a very happy 2024 👍
