Afro-Latino/a Perspectives on Racial Injustice and a Proactive Approach to Identify Solutions

The Hispanic Heritage Foundation and AARP will be hosting a Charla this upcoming Friday, September 18th, from 4:00pm to 5:15pm EST (1:00pm - 2:30pm PST), focused on Afro-Latino/a perspectives on racial injustice and the proactive approach to identify solutions.

Join us as Afro-Latino/a members of our community share their personal experiences, ideas, and actions through compelling and inspiring five-minute presentations.

Special guest speakers will be joining us, including Amara “La Negra”, who is an Afro-Latina singer, actress, dancer, author and leader in the fight against colorism and racism, within the Latino community.
