Reverse Osmosis or RO systems are both an economical and efficient method for purifying water in industrial applications. But after time, impurities can foul the membranes used to filter the water and can result in decreased product water and reduced water quality.
RO systems utilize either 4" or 8" membrane elements, comprised of a spiral wound membrane that traps and filters impurities from the water. All Water Systems provides a unique RO membrane cleaning system that helps restore RO membranes to like-new condition.
The first step is a pre-cleaning test to assess the current quality and product water flow of the membrane. A benchmark as to where the membrane is prior to cleaning.
From there, the units are loaded into our cleaning stations utilizing state-of-the-art membrane cleaning technology. Each membrane is cleaned individually rather than using batch cleaning to optimize results.
After cleaning, membranes are retested to assess performance improvement. Results are then normalized to industry standards, which compares the performance of the cleaned membrane to new membrane specifications.
Our membrane cleaning process can restore degraded RO membrane performance to near-factory specifications. Regular cleanings will help maintain RO system performance at optimal levels reducing system downtime and the frequency of costly membrane replacement.
