One of the most biodiverse and beautiful places in the world, home to around 100 endangered species of plants and animals, is threatened by large-scale copper mining. The communities have stopped the advance of 6 mining companies in the Intag Valley since 1995. Today, Codelco of Chile and the Australian Hancock Prospecting continue to threaten our forests, biodiversity, our rivers and our communities.
