Vietnam Iraq War Veteran Cynthia Christensen was interviewed in Mitchell, South Dakota on July 16, 2021. Major Christensen served in the U.S. Air Force as the first female air-to-air missile technician during the Vietnam War. Later, Major Christensen re-entered the Air Force as a nurse, joined the U.S. Army Reserves, and deployed to Saudia Arabia and Iraq during Operation Iraqi Freedom. @MakingHistoryProject
