Dodge Durango randomly stalls and won't start - Durango no start

If you have a Durango mine is a 1999 that dies and won't start or sometimes starts and dies again, watch this short video. I was pulling my hair out and even went as far as putting a new fuel pump in because I thought the pump was out. thru trial and error I discovered the Durango flaw here and fixed it with a few items in my garage. Its the computer on the firewall but more like the plugs being pushed back can correct the electrical problem for quite some time. In essence squeezing it all together to work.

I was so frustrated because I could be in traffic or at a light and the whole truck shut off literally. Kinda scary when your driving 50 MPH.

This will get you home and get you by for a while.

Also read this update. I was told over and over and read online in order to replace my computer it would need to be programmed or would not work at all. The video you see here got me by for a year and a half but just recently I replaced the computer and this is how it worked.

I went to a junkyard and got a new computer from a 1999 Durango 5.2 318 just like mine. I bolted it in, plugged it in, no special programming at all it worked fine from the very first start. I turned the key twice forward and back before starting then fired right up.

The new used computer that I got all scared would not work without getting the VIN from the donor vehicle and going to Dodge for programming worked right away and is working perfect no lights or anything. So there is the side note.
