SWITCHING OPERATION of UNION PACIFIC Phoenix Sub in Chandler, AZ

Here is a brief drone video of LKK30 Union Pacific local train doing some work on the 20 mile Chandler branch.

The UP1009 GP60 is parked just north of baseline road in Mesa, AZ next to the Phoenix Sub mainline. Here the crew works local traffic in Mesa, Chandler, and other areas of the Phoenix sub as needed. Typically the Chandler branch works 6 days a week in the mornings with work ending before noon.
